Kelly A. Bednarz is an experienced employment law attorney admitted in Connecticut and Massachusetts who represents employees in state and federal court. Since 2018, Kelly has devoted her practice to employment law, representing employees in matters involving:

Kelly manages all phases of employment litigation, from pre-suit investigation through trial preparation. Her experience includes drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and appellate briefs; conducting written discovery and depositions; arguing dispositive motions at court hearings; preparing pretrial submissions; developing case strategy; evaluating damages; and advising clients on procedural and substantive employment law issues.

Kelly has represented employees in a wide range of employment disputes and has experience handling matters before both courts and administrative agencies. In Connecticut, Kelly represents employees in matters before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Her administrative-agency experience also includes preparing filings with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), including charges and responses to position statements. She also represents clients in mediations and settlement conferences and has helped achieve favorable resolutions in high-stakes employment disputes.
Kelly's representative experience includes assisting with successful opposition to summary judgment motions in sexual harassment and racial harassment cases, including matters involving anonymous harassers, supervisor liability, and harassment occurring outside the workplace.
Her litigation experience also includes successfully opposing motions involving arbitration. Kelly has worked on matters involving the continuing violation doctrine, the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act, and evidentiary issues involving social media and hearsay.
Kelly earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Western New England University School of Law in 2018, where she graduated seventh in her class and served as a Senior Editor of the Western New England Law Review. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Western New England University in 2013, with a major in Business Management and a minor in Economics.
Kelly is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
