She is also actively involved in discovery, including preparing written discovery, reviewing and organizing document productions, coordinating document collection and production, and preparing case summaries and timelines used in litigation. Erika’s work helps ensure the record is complete, the issues are framed effectively, and matters are positioned for negotiation, mediation, and, when necessary, litigation.
Originally from Colombia, Erika earned a degree in Finance and a Master's Degree in Business before attending law school in the United States. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Prior to her legal career, Erika gained substantial experience managing successful corporations, giving her a practical understanding of workplace operations, organizational decision-making, and the types of documentation that often become central in employment disputes. She brings that business background, together with her legal training, to her work developing well-organized, persuasive employment litigation matters.
